Bless the Lord

solder giving ukulele to child
Purim in Israel, Friends of Zion museum. One of the workers dressed as a British soldier in honor of Orde Wingate, a Zionist captain in the British Mandate Army. This worker said he thought a ukulele was more appropriate for the day than a gun.

There’s no great story to tell here.  I just really love this song.  I’d love to hear a full choir sing it in a massive, full auditorium.  Thousands of voices singing this praise at the top of their lungs.  Can you imagine?  That’d be AWESOME!

Bless the Lord – Among Thorns

I tremble at Your presence
Shaken by the truth
You are God
No deed can bring You pleasure
No word can add a measure
To who You are

I lift my heart in worship
Taken by the truth
You are God
Silenced by the virtue
Surrendered and in awe
Of who You are

Bless the Lord
Let all that’s in me
Bless the Lord
May kingdoms fall
And rulers crawl
Before Your throne

I want to give all of me
Giving You all of me
I want to give all of me
Giving You all of me
