Checking In

Nothing has been as I expected it.  I don’t know why that continues to surprise me.  I told you in my first post that I learned long ago Happily Ever After doesn’t happen on this side of the grass, and yet I continue to be disappointed and disillusioned when it doesn’t happen yet again.

Waiting for T-Shirt Day

Perspective

I do not in any way claim to be an expert on biblical Hebrew or Jewish thought.  I’ve done some informal studies, but I’m a greenhorn, not a guru.  Still, there’s no reason I can’t share the things I’ve learned up to this point.

The Gift of Foreign

I wrote my previous post a short time ago. None of what I’m saying now came anywhere near my mind while I was writing it. When I began to write this post, I thought I’d be writing about the next leg of my journey. Instead, this aspect of Korea pretty much started writing itself. Might be God, and I don’t want to get in His way. Of course, it also might just be me. Whatever. I’ll go with it just in case it’s Him.
